Don ProcterDon Procter is a founding partner and chief investment officer of NAC. Mr. Procter is one of the most experienced leveraged finance and acquisition finance professionals in the London market, having held a number of senior positions at SG Warburg and its successor firms (SBC Warburg and UBS Warburg) from 1986 until 2001.  During that time, in addition to leading the team there, he personally led more than three dozen acquisition and leveraged finance transactions. More recently, he was head of leveraged finance at the Industrial Bank of Japan. Mr. Procter holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from the University of Alberta.

Simon RichardsSimon Richards is a managing partner having joined NAC in March 2009. He has over 16 years experience of investment banking and management, predominantly in credit. Prior to joining NAC, he was Chief Investment Officer – Fixed income for RAB Capital plc in London, where he was responsible both for management of the RAB European Loan Fund and overall for the Fixed Income strategies. Prior to RAB Capital, Mr. Richards worked at JP Morgan, where his career started in 1992. Mr. Richards holds a BSc in Mathematics from Southampton University.

John SealJohn Seal is a founding partner of NAC and has over 16 years of investment banking and leveraged finance experience in the origination and structuring of high yield bonds, bridge loans, leveraged loans and mezzanine loans.  Prior to New Amsterdam Capital he was a Director at Barclays Capital in London and worked at ING Barings, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Alex Brown & Sons.  Mr. Seal has a BS in finance from the State University of New York at Albany and received his MBA from the City University of New York.

Jeroen ZuurmondJeroen Zuurmond is a founding partner of NAC. Mr. Zuurmond has over 15 years of experience in investment banking and leveraged finance in the origination and structuring of structured finance transactions, high yield bonds, bridge loans, leveraged loans and mezzanine loans.  He was a Director at Barclays Capital in London from 1998, and prior to Barclays worked at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank) in London and New York from 1992.  Mr. Zuurmond holds an MBA in finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a Doctorandus degree in econometrics and operations research from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Aly HirjiAly Hirji is a partner having joined NAC in April 2004. Prior to this, Mr. Hirji spent approximately 5 years at JP Morgan as an Associate, primarily responsible for the origination and structuring of leveraged finance transactions. During his time in debt capital markets, he was involved in leveraged loans, high yield bonds and mezzanine finance. Deal experience includes the debt structuring of KKR’s acquisition of Demag and of CVC’s acquisition of Aventis Animal Nutrition, later renamed Adisseo. Mr. Hirji holds a BSc (Hons) degree in economics from the University of Bristol.

Richard LeeRichard Lee is a partner. He joined NAC in 2005 and leads NAC’s corporate finance advisory team. He has over 18 years’ experience in financial advisory and structured financing, having started his career with 8 years in asset finance at Bankers Trust (now Deutsche Bank), working in London and Hong Kong. He returned to London to start a career in the European cable industry and over 8 years, completed over €5 billion in transactions, including private equity investments, bank debt, high yield bonds, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings and an IPO. Mr. Lee has a BA in Economics from York University.

Pramal PatelPramal Patel is a partner having joined NAC in 2004 as COO. Prior to this, Mr. Patel worked at Govett Investment Management (part of the AIB Group) as the Head of Risk Management and Investment Trust Accounting. Prior to working at Govett, Mr. Patel was Head of Finance at Groupama Asset Management for two years. Mr. Patel started his career at RSM Robson Rhodes as a trainee Chartered Accountant in 1996, qualifying in 1999. Mr. Patel holds a first class Honours degree in Accounting & Finance from Kingston Business School and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
